Don’t confuse Dominiques with your run of the mill Barred Rocks. They may be similar in appearance, but their rose comb makes them unique. To no surprise, Dominiques are said to be one of the oldest American breeds, surviving since the 1700s. This is a tribute to their hardiness and usefulness, as well as their family-friendly attitude.
