Fitted with their best sweater, Silkies love the colder weather. That really isn’t a surprise since they are fully covered in coziness. However, you will need to make sure your pint-sized pal stays out of the snow or other wet places because a wet Silkie is a sad Silkie. If your chickie does find itself resembling a wet poodle just dry them off with a towel or a hairdryer. Red Silkies will have all red plumage, black skin, 5 toes on each foot, and feathered legs.
